About ORESUNDSLINJEN
ORESUNDSLINJEN a is part of Molslinjen and thereby a part of Nordic Ferry Infrastructure, NFI. Together with Molslinjen, we can enhance the passenger experience and cooperation between the routes.
ORESUNDSLINJEN is the shortest and fastest way to cross the Sound. We sail the four kilometers between Helsingør and Helsingborg around the clock. During the day, we operate every fifteen minutes for trucks and every twenty minutes for passengers and other vehicles. Anually it is more than six million passengers, a million passenger cars, 410,000 trucks and approximately 9,200 buses. Thus, we are a key in the Nordic infrastructure, connecting Denmark and Sweden with the rest of Europe. ORESUNDSLINJEN operates five ferries on the route, in which the three largest ferries being electrically powered. The goal is to have an emissions-free fleet for ORESUNDSLINJEN by 2030.
